Intrest Groups Wage War
https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/powerpost/wp/2016/02/25/liberal-interest-groups-begin-to-wage-war-for-scotus-pick/

Liberal interest groups are trying to force Senate Republicans to consider President Obama's supreme court nomination. Groups are trying to not say the names of who they would like to see nominated though. They are instead attacking the majority leader for vowing to not take any confirmation hearings. There is no way of telling how much these groups may spend to try and get Obama's nomination to be considered. Groups are saying they "want to get this process moving." The ALF-CIO is insisting they will refuse to consider Obama's nominee. They are hoping to set up a republican for the presidency. The liberal intrest groups are fearful that if president Obama nominates a republican that the liberal side could become divided. There are plans for a digital campaign, directed towards republican senators, to try and convince them to consider the nominee. The senate saying that they will not hold hearings is a direct violation of the constitution.
